Created an equation browser, with links to all equations using a particular variable. Mouse-over gives info on the variables current value. Variables can be filtered by typing a few letters.

Added an option to fix the random number seed - this allows the exact timings of "random" events to be repeated / replicated -- to help assessing homeostatic instability.

At last, the next version of HOM, version 1.50, is here! The big addition is the Equations of the whole system are now visible. The program uses jlatexmath to display the equations related to each variable. You can trace the effects of each variable in the system by clinking on the links.

Renal tubular processing has been elaborated into a sequence so that you can see the contents of the nephron at various points along its length.

Corrected a bug in fat metabolism: now type-1 diabetes causes significant fall in RQ, by switching off fat assimilation.

Now possible to run the simulation in a web browser. The screen can be customised to show only the graphs. JavaScript can be used to invoke events, trigger disease, modify variables and run scripts in the simulation.

Smoothed several cardiovascular discontinuities by modifying coefficients of vasoconstrictor tone

Added ventricular ectopics - probability is controlled by electrolytes, heart rate and ischaemia. If probability increases too high, ventricular tachycardia is triggered.
